We are working with one of our leading clients who are a well-established business within the agricultural and machinery sector who are looking to appoint an experienced Client Administrator.
This is a varied and hands-on administrative role supporting the Service Manager, engineers and wider team. You will play an important part in keeping the day-to-day service operation running smoothly, while providing a professional and helpful point of contact for customers and colleagues.
From managing customer enquiries and service documentation through to warranty claims, invoicing, engineer administration and general depot support, this is an ideal opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys a varied workload and working as part of a busy team.
The Role
- Handle incoming telephone calls and customer enquiries.
- Manage customer account queries, payments, statements and other account documentation.
- Process banking and petty cash, including monthly reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain service documentation, work orders and administrative records.
- Maintain accurate servicing and MOT records for depot vehicles.
- Support depot time and attendance administration, including holiday and absence records.
- Order stationery and general office supplies.
- Complete routine checks of fire alarm and emergency lighting systems and report any issues appropriately.
- Support the wider depot team with general administration and additional duties as required.
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and customer-focused, with the ability to manage a busy workload and competing priorities.
You will ideally have experience within an administrative, service, coordination or customer-facing environment and be confident communicating with a wide range of people both over the phone and in person.
You will also have:
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Good IT and administration skills with accurate record keeping.
- Confidence handling financial administration, payments and reconciliations.
- The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A professional, approachable and helpful manner.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team.
- A proactive and reliable approach, with the confidence to take ownership of tasks.
- Flexibility and a willingness to support colleagues when required.
