Description

We are searching for a capable and experienced Human Resources Manager to work within a dynamic  and expanding Company in Bradford This is a very generalist HR Management role, delivering frontline Human Resources services with a ‘hands on’ approach, with a focus being on Learning & Development, in addition to developing company policies and procedures and providing a full HR support, working with an Administrator.

On a daily basis, your duties will involve:

  • The whole selection and recruitment process including issuing contracts and paperwork and the on boarding process
  • Designing and delivering within all areas of Learning & Development, being proactive to assess where the training is needed within the business
  • Managing attendance and absence and ensuring  a high staff retention rate
  • Occasional travel to other office locations within the UK
  • Performance management and staff appraisals, developing personal targets and plans; managing grievance and disciplinary processes
  • Ensuring compliance, Data Protection Regulations and H&S procedures are observed
  • Taking ownership of the Apprenticeship Programme

  • CIPD qualified, and significant experience within a senior Human Resources role
  • A “hands on” approach to HR and a willingness to get fully immersed within the training and development of staff
  • demonstrable experience of a hands-on method of management and learning and development
  • Fantastic organisational skills and the ability to multi task when under pressure
  • Adaptable to the changing requirements of a dynamic business
  • Flexible to travel to other UK offices
  • Experience handling grievances and disciplinary matters
