Lucy Walker

Leeds born Lucy is the founder, Managing Director and major shareholder of Lucy Walker Recruitment. She has almost 38 years experience within the Commercial sector of the Recruitment Industry in the North of England.

After spotting an opportunity within the Yorkshire market for a service orientated Independent Recruitment Consultancy, Lucy launched the Company in November 1991 almost 35 years ago!

Lucy’s passion and drive to provide an unrivalled service proposition within the Commercial sector, has elevated the business into one of the most respected Independent Recruitment Consultancies in the North.

Lucy is still ‘active’ within the business and enjoys nothing more than being at the heart of clients’ recruitment, working with the practises by which she can motivate and nurture her work colleagues into following.

Lucy has a wealth of knowledge and an extensive network of candidates and clients from her time within the business. In addition, Lucy plays a key role in determining the strategic direction of the business, being involved at all times with Senior Management.

Lucy’s spare time over the years has been devoted to bringing up her 3 grown-up children,  keeping fit and organising that next holiday. Now based in the Lake District she enjoys yoga, padel, live music in the pub and walking the Wainwrights with her 2 Golden Retrievers.
