Leeds born Lucy is the founder, Managing Director and major shareholder of Lucy Walker Recruitment. She has almost 35 years experience within the Commercial sector of the Recruitment Industry in the North of England.

After spotting an opportunity within the Yorkshire market for a service orientated Independent Recruitment Consultancy, Lucy launched the Company in December 1992 almost 32 years ago!

Lucy’s passion and drive to provide an unrivalled service proposition within the Commercial sector, has elevated the business into one of the most respected Independent Recruitment Consultancies in the North.

Lucy is still an active “force” within the business and enjoys nothing more than being at the heart of clients’ recruitment, working with the practises by which she can motivate and nurture her work colleagues into following.

Lucy has a wealth of knowledge and an extensive network of candidates and clients from her time within the business. In addition, Lucy plays a key role in determining the strategic direction of the business, being involved at all times with Senior Management.

Lucy’s spare time over the years has been devoted to bringing up her 3 grown-up children, keeping fit to keep up with them and organising that next holiday. Grasmere in the Lake District is Lucy’s favourite family place, where she enjoys live music in the pub, walking but also eating cake, forever trying to get the balance right between the two!
