Our client is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of packaging material. They offer flexible benefits, private medical insurance & the opportunity to earn a generous commission!

The role is fully office based and will involve researching and growing your own client base, generating new business, whilst also managing a portfolio of existing clients. You will join this small and friendly team working across furniture, removals, and general sectors.

The client is looking for a confident communicator who is happy picking up the phone and talking to customers, can build strong relationships, is punctual, and can fit into the “family” style team.

What the Sales Advisor role will include:

  • Utilise diverse channels, including social media, online platforms, and phone outreach, to independently source leads and effectively engage with clients.
  • Drive business development efforts to establish a robust client base, focusing on cultivating new relationships and expanding market reach.
  • Implement cross-selling strategies to effectively manage and grow an existing portfolio of client accounts.
  • Offer comprehensive packaging solutions to customers, ensuring their needs are met with a range of products such as boxes, tapes, bubble wrap, and polyethylene items.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by managing expectations, offering timely updates on order statuses, and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.

What you need to be a Sales Advisor:

  • Previous experience in sales and relationship management is essential. Any involvement in selling a product, packaging materials, or working for a packaging merchant is advantageous.
  • Known for your communication skills, with a friendly approach and focus on being supportive and consultative.
  • Confident, thorough, and collaborative in your approach.
  • The ability to juggle tasks and prioritise, ensuring all customer’s needs are met.

This is a great opportunity to work for a growing packaging supplier whose reputation is continually growing over the years! The Sales Advisor will join a relatively small team, in a relaxed and supportive work environment and they are looking for the right person to join them on this journey of growth! The hours are Monday – Friday, working fully office based with a flexible working structure.
