Our client is a growing FMCG supplier company who sit within the convenience products sector, with their office based in Leeds, they distribute globally. They are looking to grow their internal Account Management team and are seeking experienced Sales Account Managers who can join and manage a large portfolio of clients. Whilst managing your active accounts, you will be staying connected with all existing clients, replenishing orders, upselling, and then onboarding new accounts daily.

This role requires someone who can juggle multiple tasks at once, work at pace, and be able to make quick decisions. All leads are warm, there is no cold calling, but the company are looking for candidates who aren’t afraid to pick up the phone and look for areas to grow the business. This role requires a seasoned sales professional who have proven sales success. In return you’ll have access to uncapped commission, free parking on site, performance based bonuses, and 25 days holiday + bank holidays.

As a Sales Account Manager, you will:

  • Conduct high-volume outbound sales calls to potential customers through warm lead generation and lapsed accounts.
  • Maintain regular communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, secure repeat business, and foster strong customer loyalty.
  • Grow existing accounts where possible through negotiation and upselling.
  • Handle customer objections and concerns with professionalism and confidence, turning challenges into opportunities.
  • Utilise CRM systems to manage customer interactions and maintain accurate records of sales activities.
  • Follow up with customers post-sales to ensure their satisfaction and secure repeat orders.

We are seeking candidates with:

  • It is essential that you have a proven track record in account management in a Business-to-Business (B2B) environment.
  • Extensive experience in making outbound sales calls and successfully closing sales over the phone.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage with customers.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
  • Strong IT and Excel skills.
  • The ability to work proactively and independently.
  • A drive for sales success.
