As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with existing accounts while also identifying some new business opportunities. This role offers an excellent platform for someone early in their sales career or with a technical background looking to transition into a sales-focused position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop relationships with existing customers, building on those key relationships
- Provide technical support and product expertise to clients
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Collaborate with the internal team to achieve sales targets
- Maintain accurate customer and sales data working with their CRM system
- Working diligently to ensure really strong levels of service are provided
The Ideal Candidate:
- 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in industrial, construction, electrical, or engineering sectors OR background as an electrician, electrical engineer, or in electrical wholesale with an interest in a slight change in career direction
- Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn about specialised electrical protection products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to personal development
- Open to being mentored and keen to progress in a sales career
- Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field (desirable)
- Experience in selling electrical or technical products

This role is primarily office-based initially whilst you are training, with opportunities for field-based work and a hybrid working structure as you progress. The ideal candidate will be open to travel within the Northern UK region as the role develops.
