A newly-created opportunity has arisen for a PR & Social Media Manager to join a reputable organisation based in central Harrogate. This role is part time, 2 days per week. You will form part of a small but very busy team responsible for marketing and customer attraction for the organisation.
What experience are we looking for?
- Strong experience within PR, Media Relations and Social Media
- Ability to work on own initiative and bring creative ideas
- A strategic and commercially aware individual
- Excellent copywriting and content creation skills
- Ability to build professional relationships both internally and externally.
Within this part time PR & Social Media Manager role, you will be responsible for increasing positive press opportunities and producing creative and engaging content and copy for various social media channels. You will be pitching to relevant journalists, focusing on local and national publications, forging strong professional relationships and acting as a key point of contact for media enquiries. You will be developing and managing a PR & Social Media calendar, thinking outside of the box and driving positive press coverage and social media engagement.
