Our client, a progressive city centre Law firm, is looking to recruit a Legal Secretary to provide full secretarial service across the business. This is a varied and busy role with a mix of office and home working and your daily duties will include the following:

  • Effective document managing using document management system
  • Diary management for the team, organising and planning meetings etc.
  • Being a point of contact for private clients, fielding queries and proactively assisting when able
  • General administrative support including binding, scanning, and photocopying
  • Production of documents, typing witness statements and letters
  • Overseeing the secretarial task box
  • In addition, you will work with the wider secretaries, attending team meetings, receiving ongoing training, and generally being supported within all areas of self-development

This is an excellent role for an experienced Legal Secretary and you will have the following:

  • Excellent organisational skills to effectively support a busy team and able to plan ahead for them
  • Fast and accurate typing skills
  • Experience in legal administration or a professional services environment
  • Approachable, flexible, and positive in your approach
  • A confident and discreet manner with excellent communication skills
