We’re currently recruiting for a General Manager position for a reputable provider of varying Facilities Management services. This is an exciting position with a diverse range of responsibilities, including leading, developing and mentoring the members of the Vending team, with the aim of continuously improving team effectiveness. This position is highly autonomous, and the chosen candidate will be pivotal in contributing to the success of the overall organisation.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

  • Recruit, select, train and coach members of the vending team
  • Communicate values, strategies and objectives to new and existing team members
  • Delegate accountabilities, monitor and appraising job results, develop incentives and provide educational and training opportunities
  • Financial accountability and responsibility for performance of the division
  • Develop a strategic plan for the division
  • Establish procurement, production, marketing, field and technical service policies and practices
  • Builds company image by collaborating with customers and employees
  • Business development via seeking new business opportunities and enhancing existing business partnerships
  • Maintaining a high quality of service by establishing and enforcing standards
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies
  • Communicate effectively with engineers, ensuring planned or reactive maintenance
  • Manage and ensure coordination and completion of all vending routes
  • Ensure Health & Safety Compliance


  • 2 years+ people management experience, managing a team of at least 4 individuals
  • Experience in contributing to or managing strategic objectives
  • Experience within facilities management or similar, vending would be favourable but not essential
  • Experience in holding financial responsibility
  • Experience within business development or soft sales activity
  • Full Drivers License
