Monday to Thursday 8:45 – 5:15pm Friday 8:45 – 4:45pm (No shifts!)

My client, an award winning and market leading financial services company with offices in Leeds City Centre are recruiting for a Complaints Officer to join their growing Complaints team. You will be joining a dynamic team who were finalists in the UK Complaint Handling awards and will be responsible for end to end complaint investigation and resolution, dealing with a variety of customer complaints.

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with senior customer service experience and knowledge of FCA regulations to join a company that truly value staff development and progression. You will have first class customer service skills as you won’t be working from a script and be excited by the opportunity to work for a highly reputable company that offer a fantastic working environment!

Your duties will include:

  • Taking ownership of complaints from end to end
  • Resolving a variety of complaints from website issues and errors to complaints regarding the application process
  • Building relationships with customers over the phone
  • Writing bespoke resolution letters, not using templates
  • Liaising with customers, external regulatory bodies, suppliers of service and introducers.

The successful candidate will have experience dealing with complaints in a financial services environment. A passion for customer service is key and you will also possess the following skills and experience:

  • Complaints or senior customer service experience
  • Understanding of FCA regulations
  • Ability to thrive within a fast paced environment
  • Forward thinking and innovative
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
