Our client is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join their fast paced and dynamic team. The role will involve supporting the Project Managers to build projects and support from concept through to completion. It will also involve supporting with developing client briefs into workable project files, working with clients and architects, loading new projects onto the system, checking and uploading new drawings,  requesting further information, ensuring projects are being progressed through the system, managing and requesting quotes, supporting with cost plans and ensuring they are kept up to date,

We are looking for someone with previous project coordination or project management experience within a construction, commercial/ retail fitouts, installation or fixture and fittings background ideally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Project Managers with developing client briefs into project files
  • Load new projects into the system
  • Manage project workflows through the system
  • Support project programming and phasing to ensure timely execution
  • Request installer survey information and update on the system
  • Check and update the team on new project drawings
  • Track and follow up on quotes and manage the quote tracker
  • Assist in producing cost plans, contract administration, and preparing order documents.
  • Ensure all cost plans, quotes, and orders are accurate and up to date
  • Support with project receipting and submission of final accounts

Desired Knowledge/Experience:

  • Experience in retail/ commercial fit-out, construction, installations, or fixtures and fittings or similar required
  • Strong project coordination experience
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Good IT skills and ability to pick up new systems
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Location: Leeds (remote working – 1 day in the office in Leeds – must be living within 1-2 hours commute from Leeds)
Hours: 8.30-5.00 Monday to Friday
