The Role:
As an Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. From motivating a team of enthusiastic workers to delivering top-notch service to their loyal customers, you’ll ensure the business runs smoothly and successfully.
- Lead and inspire a diverse team, gaining their respect and buy-in
- Manage shifts and operational tasks to maintain excellent service standards
- Handle customer interactions with warmth and professionalism
- Drive staff training and development, fostering a culture of growth and accountability
- Assist in business growth by maintaining high standards of efficiency, service, and profitability
The Person:
- Experience in customer-facing roles where you’ve dealt with challenging clientele (e.g., bars, pubs, nightclubs, or fast-paced retail)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Resilience under pressure and a solutions-focused mindset
- Ambition to grow—with structured training and performance-based bonuses, your earnings could rise from £30,000 to £50,000+ within two years
