We are looking to add to our team in Leeds with a focused and tenacious individual who has experience working within a Sales, Account Management or Customer focused role.  We offer an excellent basic salary plus commission and a range of benefits outlined below.

We are looking to recruit within our Permanent team. This is a great opportunity to join an established business with a strong brand and reputation gained over 30 years, for providing a superb level of service to our clients looking to recruit and being consultative in our approach to candidates who may be looking for that new opportunity.

We are ideally looking for strong experience gained within a relatable role. You may have worked within Account Management or Sales Support, Sales or Business Development and are now looking for a change. You may have recruitment experience and are looking for a change of company – if you are keen, proactive and have some similar experience, we would love to talk to you.

Recruitment is varied and so interesting on a daily basis and is incredibly rewarding as a career. We are looking for a minimum of two years related experience, or you may have 20 years’ experience - either is great for us as a diverse team.

What will the role involve:

  • Client & Candidate Management – focusing on building strong relationships with both Clients looking to recruit and Candidates seeking new roles. Being Consultative and supportive within all areas of your work, listening to both client and candidates’ requirements.
  • Business Development – a natural element of this role involves business development, reaching out to current, new and lapsed clients with the aim of supporting their recruitment.  This is not a ‘hard’ sales approach but is very consultative and conversational led.
  • Job Management – you will manage your own clients and ultimately the roles you recruit for them. You will visit clients to understand their business, their individual teams and their vacancies and will then manage all communication with your clients and focus on positive relationship management.
  • CRM Management – working with our new CRM system, updating and maintaining effective client and candidate information, ensuring accuracy within all areas of your work
  • Administration – There is a natural element of administration associated with your role, from drafting copy for advertisements to preparing CVs, to confirming interviews
  • Team working – Whilst small, we are a tight team, and working together is vital. Being supportive, open, and transparent in your communication makes for a happy and well-performing team – our ultimate aim.

What does this role need:

  • A hands-on approach, we are a small team and everyone gets involved with everything!
  • Business to business experience – a minimum of 2 years’ experience gained within a similar role as outlined above, or you may have 20 years’ experience, looking for a complete change
  • Confident communication skills with a personable approach and excellent listening skills
  • Positive, bright and highly motivated as well as being proactive in your approach
  • Highly motivated by success and earning well
  • Strong IT skills, able to prioritise and manage your time effectively
  • A confident, resilient and conscientious individual
  • A highly organised individual with the ability to meet required deadlines
