We are looking for a driven and creative Marketing and Communications Executive to research and deliver a broad and distinctive Marketing strategy for an award winning travel and experience website. The perfect candidate will be an imaginative and intelligent strategist who thrives in a demanding and fast-paced atmosphere, with solid experience with Marketing.
On a daily basis, you will be overseeing and undertaking a variety of tasks, such as:
- Delivering a comprehensive Marketing and Communications plan of your own creation,
- Understanding the ethos of the brand, and ensuring it is clear in our Communications,
- Developing Marketing and Copywriting briefs for maximum effectiveness,
- Liaising with the owners of various publications,
- Working closely with media and marketing teams to ensure search KPIs are being hit,
- Managing a small team who are executing the Marketing and Communications plans regarding on site content and other publications; which you put in place.
The key skills and experience which are required for effectively undertaking this exciting MarComms role include:
- Proof of writing engaging copy and developing Marketing Communications copy across several digital media platforms,
- Leadership and management skills; and the ability and willingness to share your skills with others
- A demonstrable understanding of the travel and tourism market,
- A solid grasp of the way in which your work impacts organic search rankings and results,
- Knowledge of how websites and copy are indexed, ranked and the impact it can have on the website’s performance,
- The ability and desire to oversee the development of a comprehensive multi-themed marketing communications schedule.
