The role of a Recruitment Consultant is extremely fast paced, demanding and very sales focused. Your product is people and selling people can be frustrating, but also extremely rewarding! No two days are literally the same, managing your own Candidate base and maintaining and developing a client base.
Your day starts when you step on the bus, train or in your car as you see Companies during your journey, recalling whether they are a current client, or one that you can proactively contact. From there it is non stop, interviewing Candidates, taking new jobs from companies, checking a temporary worker or offering a new job to your candidate. Recruitment is extremely competitive, you have to be good and determined to succeed.
